I believe this to be a rare Weimar Republic Commemorative.
I have not seen ANY examples on the net.
TRULY A BEAUTIFUL PIECE!

Weimar-era is correct.

This is the Bayerisches Kriegs-Erinnerungskreuz 1914 - 1918 [Bavarian War Commemorative Cross 1914 - 1918] awarded by the Verband Bayerischer Frontkämpfer e.V. [Association of Bavarian Front Fighters, registered association].

Sorry, I don't have more data on this award.
