as i was wondering about the markings, time period ect is there more to find about this beautiful piece
or is there someone here that could give me some information

S&W would be for Sy & Wagner and the 938 would be the silver content.
Can't help you with if it is real or not though.

Post war for sure. The connection between the letters U and R in "Pour" is St&L's trademark, however the quality and markings on this example are not what I would suspect from a St&L piece. I'd advise you to post it in the 57 section on WAF.

i dont think mine is st&l as there are many other things that dont compare to st&l sutch as the ring to the ribbon loop
material ect

As far as I know, wartime Wagners were marked "W" not "SW".
Here is what an awarded wartime Wagner should look like.

Uhh...just curious, but did it come with a refund policy? The rough and unfinished edges on the eagles is a big red flag for me-as is the poor details which should be very fine. I also am uneasy about the closed beaks on the eagles. The poor enamel work in the tips if the arms, the shape of the crown, etc. To be quite frank, I would never have this in my collection...
