I've always been interested in Freikorps items, especially insignia & awards -
Helmut Weitze is currently offering this Selbstschutz Bataillon "Wolf" Abzeichen (SSOS=Selbstschutz Oberschlesien, Commanded by Oberleutnant Wolf) ...
The Badge was produced by two firms - Max Reich, Breslau & Preissler, Pforzheim...The difference is most obvious in the reverse hardware...I'm interested in the Preissler-produced example shown on the 4 Photos in the Center-...
On Top is Weitze's Example, and the bottom 2 photos show a Max Reich, Breslau Example...

I know nothing about these however they are a very cool looking badge.
If I were buying one, I would probably take the one pictured at the top.
It has more of a "been there-done that look to it"
