Having a dig through my "planes" file, and thought I'd share with you.

After WW1 an enterprising man called Paul Stahl used a collection of Halberstadt aircraft for an aerial photography business. The collection was broken up in the 60s, but I believe this is where these originate from.
    They are totally unrestored.

The pictures are from the belgian royal army museum in Brussel i visited this year.
Here some more pictures of this great museum. It haves one of the best WW1 air planes display.

The Halberstadt is now divided in preparation for restoring.

Alex, thanks for those extra pics and information.

While it is nice to see one in an unrestored condition, it is even nicer to see one restored and looking like it was just used yesterday.

Never mind the planes - that building has a story to tell. I wonder what it was used for before becoming a museum? Interesting architecture.

What the heck is that very last picture? It almost looks like a small airship gondola.

It must be a rarity if it is. I didn't think any airship parts survived.
