    Is this a three-piece 16mm, Greg? Any info on producers of such pieces?

    Yes it's a 3 piece 16mm mini.

    This is my 3rd 3-piece mini and unfortunately none can be associated
    with a particular maker. As far as I know, we have never been able to
    put a maker name to these.

    It would be interesting to see if somewhere , someone has one on a
    maked button.

    I think they were made by Godet.
    And I think there is one three piece 1870 mini on Godet button in Streptile´s collection.
