Good afternoon,
I do not recognize your badge but can share some thoughts on it. Besides appearing to be of vintage years, it does not have hardware seen on small badges from 20's -40's used in Germany. Is this definitive? No, but most likely not. Searches for this attachment style will probably get your answer before searching for badges with a similar obverse. Sorry this may not help but it's a start.

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
To me it looks like a civilian broach , any hallmarks ?
No markings I could distinguish. There was anything from American Civil war to third reich era items in this group... It is entirely possible that it is civilian as well.
ROTC Cadet 2LT badge.........

Hi Steve,
You always have been sharp with U.S. medals and insignia, and here's another fine example! Thank you for your knowledge and always sharing it. You have helped me more than once, if not many times.
