Strange Wings. Help ID please.

Hey gang!

This was in my lot of items I bought today. These reminded me of the German radio operators patches and badges from WWII. But they may not be related at all. They are just a pinch longer then 3 inches. Can anyone help ID?

They remind me of something associated with the Spanish Civil War.

Italian? I think. Don't know the period though.

Most definitely not German. They sure look like a variant of the Italian radio operators' wings to me. See here:
