Trench Art Tobacco Jar

Article about: Hi Chaps, picked up this yesterday. Thought it looked great with the pickelhaube spike, Cheers, Richard.

    A very skilled craftsman put that one together. All the parts just gel together. Another like from me too!

    Thanks chaps for all the comments. You're right big ned it's a real tactile thing. I saw it a few weeks ago in a local market & was pleased it was still there when I bought it this week.

    Congratulations on the pick up - I find it very aesthetically pleasing.

    However......as a pipe smoker (Yeah , yeah I know I need to stop), I would question it's ability to maintain the freshness of the tobacco.

    Many thanks Richard - a very nice piece, though I actually thought for a little while it may have been part of a treadle sewing machine.
