trench knife horn stag grips

from what i now i have here a typical wwi era prpivate purchase knife.what do You think about the grips?can they be a fabric made?or rather private customization?

IMO, not the original handle, or handle shape.
Someone has re-handled this one and altered the shape.

They appear to be two different colour of horn, not something you'd see on a factory handle.

Interesting knife though, with clearly some history of use. Some closeup photos of the leather hanger would be good.
