    Default U Boat match case

I came across the attached in a 'job lot' at a local auction. The base metal case is U Boat match caseU Boat match caseU Boat match caseapprox. 50mm by 50mm. the motif on the case bears the name Deutchland and I assume is linked to the cargo carrying uboat which crossed the Atlantic undetected in 1916 under Captain Koenig.

Can anyone confirm if the case is likely to be genuine

    Many thanks
