it appears to be a fake compared to others.
Harry is correct, the badge is a very common fake, often it is found stamped 935 aping the silver badges that were popular post war in the 20's and 30's. If you look at the genuine Schott badge below, you'll notice clear differences in the cross on the crown, the wreath, wreath binder, ribbon and laurel leaves etc.
The rear of the badge shows the Makers Mark is noticably different.
