Uncertain medal - help please!

Good afternoon gents, I have had this for a while, and was led to believe it was some sort of veterans medal. Is this correct? If not, or if so, can anyone tell me the correct name for this piece please?

Hi Troy looks a good Prussia veterans association decoration for loyal membership for 25 years with a wrong ribbon to me.

It looks like a veterans association medal from Prussia for 25 years of loyal membership, with a ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class attached to it.

Thanks Eric and Roger, is the correct ribbon the same as the 1914 EKII? If I replaced the '39 EKII ribbon with some '14 EKII, would it then pass muster?

Adrian, I just checked the sale for the ribbon, they claim it's original?

How can I tell one way or the other? Although, it doesn't seem to show any age to me, it looks new.
