Greetings. I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I'm trying to figure out what it is. It belongs to a coworker and he has come to me for assistance, but I'm useless, so I come to you all. Thanks for any possible help. Mods, please move if I placed it in the incorrect section. Thank you.

I think it is a Bonn Choral group medallion, pin or something of that nature. Best I can guess.

Thank you, gentleman. So I take it it's not a very collectible item? Does not sound like it is. If he asks me the inevitable question of value, what would be a good response; worthless? lol

Well, that's that.....The fat lady has sung.
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'

In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
