Off into work this morning as the hell continues. I got chatting to a Gent who consigned some model railway stuff last week. Turns out his Dad was a Spitfire Pilot. He has decided to sell his Dad's kit, which he brought in for me to catalogue. Just some of it includes:

Service Dress and photo of him wearing it.
    Irving Flying jacket
THREE C type flying helmets plus one mask and goggles
Two sets of Goggles in boxes
    Complete Mess Dress
1941 Mae West, complete with O2 cylinder, floatation bladders.
Post war Bone Dome, cloth under helmet, complete Mae West.
    Greatcoat
    Trousers
    Two SD cap
    Three FS caps
    Beret

Never mind some swords and bayonets.....

Now that would be one hell of an expensive grouping to keep together, awesome lot! Leon.

I know, so sadly it will have to go a single lots. But I will add a note of who it belonged to so prospective bidders can chose to try and keep some of it together if they wish. He is keeping his Medals and Logbook. He joined up in 42, and stayed in until the early 1960's.
