Thank you all for your comments and expertise, I greatly appreciate it. The asbestos is a concern, however, if I were to purchase it, I would put it in a sealed display case. Obviously, I don't want to over pay for it but I'm more concerned bout the item being authentic. I don't like reproductions in my collection. So the Germans used charcoal filters?

my guess it will go over 500 bucks. you don't have to worry about this ite but in the past I won something from him and it wasn't as described.
