    I picked-up a Austrian Knife and was curious about the markings.
    Someone mentioned the V&N on the scabbard could be Greek?
    I saw the Austrian knife thread on here and may have overlooked what i was looking for.

    Hi, V&N is the firm Vogel & Noot. I am not sure if they are Austrian or Hungarian as they seemed to have factories in both countries. They are not Greek though.
    Edit, the acceptance stamp on the cross guard looks like it's the Austrian eagle.
