WW1 German Belt & Buckle - wanting verification

Hi all,

Recently picked up this WW1 German belt & buckle, just wanting verification that both are WW1. Not too sure what to look for regarding the belt. The buckle looks original to me and has what looks like brush painted (but worn) field grey paint, no markings at all that I can see. The belt is a brown colour, not black.

Looks like belt has been really shortened. Buckle appears to be good (none of the tell tale signs of a repop). Most buckles had a leather piece on the prong roller. Belts should have a neat the size marked on it.

Hello,
It is a WWI Prussian buckle with an interwars dress varnished belt that has lost its varnish and had its inner felt removed...the leather tab for the buckle has been moved down on the belt...
