In my defense, however, there are examples of "odd" camo patterns that do date from the Great War period and I looked too closely at this one and excepted it too quickly. The shape of the ear cutouts was the dead giveaway and I should have looked more carefully. My apologies to OP.
Such are the risks of posting on this forum. You are damned if you give a wrong answer. And this is where ALL forum members should bear in mind these are ONLY opinions. They are never guaranteed to be correct opinions. If you purchase something just on the strength of what you have been told on the forum, it is still your own fault if it turns out to be wrong. It would be of no use blaming someone else.
