Hi I am posting a couple of ww1 postcards I bought recently they may be of interest to some. The second group I believe to be 13th Saxon jaegurs as I can makeout 13th on a shoulder board and the plume in hat .

2nd saxonian Jaeger-Brigade No.13, a part of the 32. (3rd royal saxonian) Division
stalheim56, first, welcome to this section of the forum !....two super photographs, the first, showing a "Corporalshaft" (platoon) the 11th, of the Ersatz Battalion 1, of the Landwehr Infantry Regiment 36. The second photo, you are correct with the '13' on the straps, shows members of the "Kgl. Sachs. 2. Jager-Batl. Nr 13. (Dresden) XII Armee Korps, or in English, Royal Saxon 2nd Jager Brigade, Battalion 13, garrisonned at Dresden, part of 12th Army Corps, as debbie082009 has stated, part of the 32nd (3rd Royal Saxon) Division. Readily identified, by the unique Saxon Model 1867 Tschako's, a pattern specific to Saxon Jager and Schutzen Battalions, more cap than helmet ! with its black horse hair plume, looked more like a kepi when compared to its Prussian counterparts !....notice they look to be wearing Model 1895 ammo pouches.
