    Kris, clearer & brighter photographs needed.....I cant tell, the detail is lost due to bad light, sorry....though it does look promising from what I can see, a very IMO desirable badge !

    I wunder who is responsable for designing uniforms and insigna's; must be an intresting story.
    Apparently some having a certain historical background in combination with a lack of creativity came up with strange familiar things or mabe it was supposed to be!!??
    Have a look at the insigna of the Dutch "Stoottroepen", German translation is "Stoßtruppen"!! (!!!pass on the first picture!!! ;-))

    Nowing that the one responsable for the creation of the regiment is Prins Bernhard ....(German by birth!!)

    Kris, thanks for sharing ! very interesting (although I did wonder what the woman with the big "boobies" had to do with it !), I wonder if the badge was inspired by the Karpathian Corps version ?
