    Hello there war relics forum!

I've just purchased my first Iron Cross and am waiting for it to ship. As with most people, I am having those post-purchase worries that the cross could be fake. The seller mentioned the magnetic iron core and three-part construction, so hopefully that will hold up. He also mentioned that these are the original ribbons, although they look awfully clean to me. It came in a deal along with the Hindenburg Cross, so if any information can be given for that as well, I would be very grateful.

I am not familiar with these things, as my main collection consists of WWII documents (booklets, photographs, books). So any help will be appreciated!

    I also agree.
Was anything said by the seller about markings on the ring of the EK II?

Thank you all of you, I'm glad to hear that it checks out so far.

Ralph, the seller did not mention anything about ring markings, but I'm planning to give it a thorough look-over once it arrives. Once I do, I'll post detailed photographs of anything I find.
