I am not familar with these types of items but the wear seems to be consistant with the age of a WWI item.

I personally do not like this one..the quality just is not there for me...but thousands of patriotic items were made during the Great War for consumption both at the front and the at home, this could be a piece that has been over cleaned, i.e. loss of patina/paint or enamel. Just my opinion though.....
    Prost ! Steve.

Not original. These can be found on several modern sites.

I've seen these on eBay. They seem to be coming from Eastern Europe(Poland? Russia? Lithuania?)
Here are a few photos of Genuine ones of a similar style.(Please ignore the rest of the fobs, as the Pendants are the only thing being compared, of course) Note their appearances look nothing like the one in question. They clearly exhibit wear, patina and usage, and the detailing is immediately discernible as radically different to these Eastern European fakes that have been showing up alot of late.

Similar to my Cross, I have not seen. IF YOU SHOWED THE IDENTICAL CROSS IT WAS POSSIBLE TO ARGUE ABOUT THEIR AUTHENTICITY.

Maxrsx...you asked for opinions ("Original or not?") and I gave you my professional assessment. Even the Moderator here did not care for it. If it wasn't what you wanted to hear, we can't help that. You asked to see "a similar cross" and I went so far as to even showing you Two different photographs of what a Period object of this type Should and Does look like. Your items do Not look anything even remotely like this. 100 year old Silver has an appearance that is difficult to duplicate. I'm sorry, but yours does not have this appearance. As I said earlier, pendants or fobs of this kind have been showing up on eBay and elsewhere for some time now. Your only response was, basically, "The photographs are not Exactly the same as mine". Well, of Course they are not the same. They are Genuine. Yours is a fairly poor imitation.

Your opinion is quite clear to me. Cross fake. Just do not need to say that had seen analog. Not seen. Similar pictures of bad crosses, I self saw many times.
