    Hello,
I picked up this German Pickelhaub today.
I believe it is Prussian but I am not sure.
Can you please tell me what I have here?
Anything about it would be helpful.
Also, what is an approximate value on it (ballpark) in this condition.
    Thank you in advance.

A very nice unmolested 1915 pattern prussian haube, with the low viz/economy grey painted plate and fittings - suffering from some loss of finish from exposure to humidity. therte seemsto be some depot markings on the neck guard, but I can't read them. lookslike a nice size 55-56 cm maybe. Well done, was it cheap?

    Thank you guys.
    You asked was it cheap?
I dont know it depends on what you tell me about value.
Can anyone give me an idea of approximated value?
    Even a range?

these days three to four hundred is about right for one in this condition, closer to six fifty with the fittings clean and the leather with it's proper finish. This would be a good one to put under a field cover for display.

I got it for market value then if you are saying its worth in the $400 range.
I saw a few on eBay completed listings in the $300 range missing the chinstraps and other parts so I had hoped I was getting a fair price.
Are you saying I should have the fittings cleaned?
Are you saying it's an ugly duckling so it should be displayed under a cover?
Also is there anything else you all can tell me about it.

Actually I was not planning on cleaning it.
I will read Kaiser's Bunker anyway.
    Thank you for the advice.

Does anyone know if it is an officer's 1915 pattern prussian haube?
