Hey Ian, I am well aware of that! Been looking for one since 1973! Not saying I would recognize a fake when seeing one, but I defenetly won't sent anyone 1300 euro based on pictures , even good pictures!!
Still bargains do happen...(...every day!....) ! (lol!)

Google did the work, I only dropped the picture into the image search window and typed in three words. The scammer, who doesn't actually have the helmet in hand (in this case —fake or not is irrelevant at this point) can only ever use photos that exist elsewhere online so it is pretty much certain that the original source of the image(s) can be traced and the scam exposed.
