I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
How is your setup? I'd like to take photographs with a clean black background. I guess i need a light-tent or at least a black (vinyl?) backdrop...?
I use a black cloth and a light box. I am not sure about using black vinyl as it might
be too reflective.

At the risk of going somewhat off-topic (I'll be brief): I don't like cloth because wrinkels show in pictures. none-reflective ('photographic') vinyl exists, so I think I'll give it a try. What I want to create is something like this:
(although this one looks photoshopped, it can be done with a clean black background)
