But it's color seems black over a musterd brown color!?
If so it could mean it was re-issued to the Gendarmerie.

you could be right although close up it looks more like dark brown than black and to my mind is just many years accumulation of grime. I probably won't try cleaning it - just in case!
OK Krisse, it'll probably go on a well known auction site as I haven't a clue what to ask for it but I will take it to some dealer friends first to see if they can give it a fair valuation. But I'll give you a heads up before I list it. regards, Dave
