Can anyone identify this jacket, I think its early US

The inked markings are not saying American to me.

The Stars to the collar could signify Italian?

Italian would be my guess from the markings as well. I know there was
a 'Pasquale Uniform Company' in San Francisco, California, but this
stamp has no English.........

looks like an 1920/30 italian police tunic, i think they are called carabinerie or something like that
