Can you identify this badge?

Hi' All, Another mystery. Found this at local car boot. Its a bamboo walking out stick with white metal pommel. The badge looks like RJ with Kings crown and wreath. Can it be military? Thanks in advance for your input.

It looks correct for a British army unit badge but I don't recognise it.

Being a Swagger stick , I think it was military , many Commonwealth nations used them . I have a Canadian WWI one and had a Late-Victorian one . The wood looks to be bamboo , South Africa maybe .

Could be R.I.
I would expect the hook on a J to be below the level of the R. The I can be almost identical in some scripts.
Looks like a very basic design. Maybe a generic Royal Infantry stick for lower ranks?
