Dump finds ww1 drawings help needed

Article about: hello again could do with some info on the drawings, the drawings came in a box with some war photos. thanks for your help regards darren

    Yes I agree, it's something I would love to own myself. I really like the illustration of the officer at the table, so full of atmosphere. If you look at him closely he looks absolutely exhausted.

    He's not an officer, he's a Corporal sitting at a table.

    They are very nice, but i would suspect the backing is not acid free nor the paper used. I would de-frame them, put the pics in an acid free folder (individually), make a note of what is written on the mount board with each pic. Indidually wrap the backing board in thin bubblewrap and ditch the black tape. All glue and tape will deteriorate and turn into a mess which could contaminate the pics. They also deserve a small write up for western front journal.
