    Default Family Medals

    Hi

After the excellent information I was given by members of this forum on one of my relatives I was wondering if anyone could find out any information about some of my other relatives.

    24509 Pte.S.Mummery North'N.R.

    G-4843 Pte.A.Mummery E.Kent.R (The Buffs)

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Cameron

    Hi

Also, is it possible to find out which Battalion they served in?

    Thanks

Hi Cameron, yes it is. This can be discovered via the Medal Roll. See the codes numbers written at the side of each medal on the Medal Index cards I have shown.

But I cannot do that research for you. You need to pay a researcher at the National Archives to pull the records for you and copy them. I can recommend a very good guy for you if you wish to proceed. Only costs about £15 for each name.

From there you can research where each Battl served etc.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi

I think I might do that. It would really make a great display having all of the documents to accompany the medals.

    Thanks
