Going through a box of family photos I found a picture of a Relative who gave his life during the Great War. I know he was in The Kings Regiment (Liverpool) 13th BTN. I have been on The War Graves Comission and know where he is on a memorial. My Questions are Can i find anymore info about his Military records? What Medals would he have been entitled to? I would like to have this pic mounted with medals and death penny so he is more than a pic in a box.His name was Frederick Houghton 23363 killed 14/7/1916 to the rear of the photo is a message...Wishing you a merry xmas & if you have any money to spare & whisky send it on xxx Fred.

His service record is on Ancestry. I am quite prepared to load the images here but it won't be for a couple of days due to work commitments.

    Regards and Happy New Year
