French? Aux Heros Medal.

Hi Guys,

I have come by a couple of these medals, one in silver and one in bronze finish. It is inscribed 'Aux Heros' and lists the WW1 battlefields of Carency, Ablain, Neuville, Souchez, Lorette, Vimy, Avion, Lievin, Lens and Loos. The rear is entitled 'Sunt Lacryme Rerum' 1914-1918. The maker A.Mayeur is etched on the foot of the medal.

I cannot for the life of me, find any info on this particular award. I would most appreciate some assistance on this one.
