The .45 holster, as I remember, looked extremely clean for WWI,
it's quite possibly a repro. Need close-up shots of it............
(Original WWII holsters are about $60-$80 these days)

He did confirm that the holster had the S&R marking (which would be accurate for us as we live near Minnesota) and had a inspector stamp on it. Or would that be done in a repro as well? I'll have the chance to handle these before buying, is there anything specific I should look for to see if its a repro?

Look for thin or poor quality/irregular leather and hardware on the holster.
It could be an original, but why would he let it go so cheaply, unless it is
the main part of the sale - the bacon tin and helmet are just 'thrown in'.
Incomplete helmet shells are not worth too much, really.

The 'Theater made' knife was originally a WWII 'USN Mark 1' that has had
it's grip replaced. It was most likely made - and marked on the reverse
riccasso - by either; Pal, Robeson, Camillus, Ka-Bar, Geneva Forge,
Utica, or some other commonly seen WWII American contractor.
The handle was of the leather washer type when new.

If you really want or need all these items, $100 is probably
    not too bad for everything.................
    Regards,

    Steve.
