They are both in nice condition and the one with the frog will be more collectable, but me being a tight sod would go for the cheaper one!..

I don't know jack about these bayonets, but I would go for the one with the frog. It's more complete.

I would go for the Sanderson. The fact that the scabbard has British acceptance marks and is dated is nice and actually not that often encountered.

The frog is no big deal to me.

The sanderson is much hard to find and the frog on the other is nice but it does not add 55 pounds of more value i would buy the cheaper one. Hope this helps Sean

    Tony,

Personally I think both are very overpriced if you don't mind me saying. Good 07's are still available at under £100. The frog does not add anything like £55 to the second bayonet. Just my opinion but 07s abound at almost every Militaria Fair so its a buyers market. Regards Mark

    hi mark
you are right they are overpriced but we never get militaria fair where i live
so have to rely on dealers espcially for bayonets so have to pay over the odds.
    thanks for your comments.

    Tony,

Not sure where you live but if you want me to look for one at Leeds in two weeks let me know. Lots of bayonets on stalls and as I say a bit cheaper than on a site.

    regards
