    Just a nod to say that the IWM is extending its WW1 collection to include many images of "life on the front" never before seen in time for next years 100 centenary....here are just a few..............Jake.

    Great pics, looking forward to seeing more. Definitely seen the one of the guy in drag before though. Pretty sure it was in John Master's "Fourteen- Eighteen".

    Very cool, thanks for sharing.

    The splash from falling off the beam must have been difficult to capture with period photographic equipment.

    The picture with the tank and the Pierrot troop are almost certainly the Acorns of the 40th Division and were led by Frederick Waller who was a Derby scheme volunteer and was Gassed in before the wars end.

    Yeah saw these photos Jake..very interesting I thought!..Puts a different spin on the Great War....Squaddies haven't changed much lol. Cheers Terry.
