Helmet plate for dicussion

Hello,
could you help me judging about the authenticity of this badge please.
To me it doesn't feel good, but it just is a guts feeling, so I would like a better opinion.
It seems pretty heavy to me; nearly 50 gr. (47 to be exact.)

Sadly it as you suspect a fake, the center piece should be a separate item and the feet of the lugs is typical of fakes

Baught it several years ago, but it just turned up again.
So far for my collection English helmet plates I wanted to start, back then.
