ID Help on Italian Tunic

Article about: I traded for this Tunic years ago and was told that it's a WWI Italian Tunic. As I don't have any reference books on this subject, I thought I'd ask for help here. http://i762.photobucket.co

    I traded for this Tunic years ago and was told that it's a WWI Italian Tunic. As I don't have any reference books on this subject, I thought I'd ask for help here.

    Not a subject I know much about, but I believe your ID is correct.

    Hello! As ade, I am not an expert in italian tunics. But, I can tell you with certain that it's an Italian tunic. The stars, are a "signature" of the Italian Army. I got a refrence book of italian uniforms and equipaments during the ww2. And the stars appears in every uniform of the army.

    Paid? I traded two Austrian buckles for it in 1982.

    Sorry, I thought that trade means negociate. My english is not that good...

    Looks like a 1909 pattern but does not have the shoulder "rolls". I would guess that is a wartime product that had the "rolls' deleted. Also a pocket I think. It does not have the collar tabs to designate a unit. Rich A. in Pa.
