M15 Adrian helmet infantry thoughts?

I can't see much from the pictures but have a look at the bottom of this page .: World War Helmets - Casque Adrian modèle 15 :. for variations.
Is it possible the strap snapped near the rivet and was re-stitched?

A nice helmet. The strap was probably replaced by the owner - maybe in the field. The original straps were made of quite thin leather.

Youri mate, that looks like a proper sewing job to me. I agree with Steve, replaced by the owner or perhaps a good honest repair job, originals are probably no more than 2mm thick at most.
