My "New" Helmet, Steel, MK1

Hi all. Although I have not been particularly active on the forum for a while I thought I would share one of my latest acquisitions. As far as I can tell this is a genuine First World War, Helmet, Steel, MK1 in quite decent condition for its age. As the weather here today is lousy I have had to take shots with the flash on which has made it look greener than it is, so I have also attached a photo without flash to show how it actually looks. Any comments are welcome. Cheers.

Thanks guys. I don't think it has a rubber donut fitted.

No rubber ring dates it to something like Aug. 1916 to May 1917 or there about (from memory so I may be wrong). Is the Brodie's Steel Helmet patent stamp under the oil cloth liner?
