New Zealander WW1 records

Hey guys,

URQUHART, Leslie Albert Lionel - WW1 28829 - Army

My Great uncle served in WW1.
I have his records but I can't make sense of them.
Looks like he was sick for most of the war.
Can anyone please boil it down and explain where he served and if he was wounded or sick?
Half of the writing to too hard to read......

Ok, so after a lot of reading and researching and 3 faimly members helping, we have figured out his story.
Old uncle Urquhart leaves NZ and arrives in England just after Christmas 1916.
He then has some fun and ends up in Codford hospital with a case of V.D.
Then he is shipped to France and spends a week in the trenches and is Gassed. 1917.
Poor bugger spends the rest of the war in and out of hospital.

yeah was pretty standard back then at one stage 2 out of the 3 Affleck boys that were in France had VD haha old Tom Affleck even had trench foot to add to his worries. Many of them lived it up never thinking they would make it home.

Maybe just should have kept his pants buttoned up.
But he was still a hero and served his country when called,one of the great generation.

He was lucky in a lot of ways.
He could've been killed or lost an arm or leg.
maybe he didn't want to die a virgin, that is if he still was one?

URQUHART, Kenneth Roderick - WW1 28830 - Army.

Notice how their service numbers are one after the other? joined up together. brothers in arms.
need to read over the records and figure out his story.
looks like he spent the war in France....
