I did a search of osd badges on the brit badge forum and they are not easily found but they were solid backed unlike the or's badges.

I hope it is ok, but I have asked about it on the brit badge forum.

I have done my research and find literally zero examples or possibilities this is what the seller claims to be. I am going to attempt to get a refund so I can spend my hard earned cash on something that I can confirm is 100% authentic. I feel like I overpaid now, anyways..

the consensus from the other forum, one of each opinion, it is post WWII or it is a copy.

Try for a refund because it is not WWI.

I'm sorry this turned out to be misrepresented and not a WWI example, but I'm glad we got to the bottom of it.
