Looks like the helmet shell is related to the US "Experimental Model 5"

Strange helmet, though interesting and looks like it is from a futuristic but medieval inspired fantasy movie, or Mad Max -though obviously not. Must be very uncommonly seen and good to see it. Well done to all those who added info on it and what it might be.
