    Hi

Mainly any groups of items with provenance (name of soldier, regiment, where the soldier served, etc).

    Thanks

    Cameron
WWI medals are always named and have the winners regiment on them as well and they are commonly seen, price depends on the regiment. Researching WWI medals is relatively easy I think and if you know the unit you can probably find out where he served. Probably harder to find a group that includes other items and it all depends on what sort of money you have to spend, named tunics can be very pricey and are often mothed. If you can be more specific as to what you want and ballpark figure on what you have to spend I'll have a look for you. Any particular regiment or corps that interests you, do you have relatives that served in the war etc....?
    Regards,

    Jerry

This group is on buywyze, absolutely stunning group if you have the money, though I'm sure most of us don't.

In 2011 we were most fortunate to come across this amazing untouched WW1 Kit Bag find of the uniforms of Private A. Careless, of the 2nd Bn Somerset Light Infantry. Not only his uniforms but head-dress including his Wolseley foreign service helmet and trench cap.

Comprising: WW1 Wolseley foreign service helmet, retaining regimental pagari badge. The interior with original paper issue label, date 1917. .... Three examples of the KD uniform, including early pattern, with stand and fall collar, four pleats and pointed pocket flaps. The second example, the WW1 economy pattern with stand collar, single pleat, pointed pocket flaps and retaining original pressed leather economy General Service buttons. The third example appears to have been his working pattern, this with stand and fall collar. .... Denim Trench cap. This in very good condition with full oil skin lining, retaining correct thin brown leather chinstrap, secured by pressed leather General Service buttons. .... Khaki wool material side cap, this complete with buttons and shows evidence of a badge having been worn. ....Kit bag with Private Carless details. ... Kit roll, this with no printed details. Overall Very good condition, but dusty and untouched. An outstanding and rare grouping.

Yes, thanks for searching but one with swords but without a bar with other medals. Just one on its own.
