    Hi Gents
Thought I would share a recent pick up.
I believe this small lot may be attributed to the same Australian Serviceman.

Unmarked British made replacement General Service hat badge.

    General Service collar insignia.
Example one is Stokes and Son manufactured.
Example two is unmarked and possibly of British manufacture. Note the "block" style lugs .
Issued non matching pairs were common

The numbering on both the Silver War badge and the Discharged Returned Soldiers badge do not relate to an AIF service number. Also the numbering of both these badges do not have to match to be issued to the same serviceman.

I hope you found them interesting and thanks for looking.

    All the best

    Enough of the crap

I like this little lot especially the old "RSL" badge.
They came as a complete lot but I'm still not certain of the serviceman to whom these were awarded. I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks for looking fella's

Dave, as you mention slider fitted cap badges are British and the same applies to the blocky type lugs as well as far as I understand them.

I have one which has been said to be British made.
