    I assume this is a German shell case from Mai(Y) 1917, can anyone add any more detail?

    I assume this is a 7.7cm case, HL being the brass supplier Haniel Luege Dusseldorf and the 6 and the 27 being inspectors marks, the St being for a strengthened case. I vaguely remember this being already answered but perhaps not as its not and maybe it was another case.
