Trenchart match safe?

Article about: I've seen a lot of pictures of these on the net, and a few at shows, but haven't found much info on them. I put it here because I thought it more of a souvenir item. The matches came with it

    I've seen a lot of pictures of these on the net, and a few at shows, but haven't found much info on them. I put it here because I thought it more of a souvenir item. The matches came with it, I think they have to be fairly old, they say made in Nippon, not Japan.
