US camo battle damaged lid

I have had this lid in my collection for awhile and have always found it interesting, so i thought i'd share it with you.

If it could speak it might tell you that the wearer had been shot and maybe the helmet was upturned on the ground when it was hit. a very nice battle-damaged lid though
