WW.I british officers sword. 3rd Lancashire Artillery Volunteers

Article about: Hi, I have just picked up this sword which I presume is a WW.1 British officers sword. Its not in bad condition although it could do with a clean and most of the wire to the grip has gone. I

    Ah, no problem Damien, I expected it would be gone by now but it was worth asking, sometimes I find I never end up parting with things I originally intended to. I have a Victorian Volunteer Artillery sabre myself, to the Essex Volunteers, but that one is one of the much rarer short variants. Would be nice to pick up a local Volunteer sabre eventually, though.
