Beautiful collection of items, what an honour to be the custodian of them. Thanks for posting them and sharing their history.

Wonderful set, Marty!
That somewhat overly-decorated M1 liner looks... well, frankly... ridiculous!
If you found that on a dealer’s table, you’d think someone had gone a little silly with the paint set, cringe and walk on by.
Just shows you how easy it is to disregard something that may well have some serious history behind it.
The 2nd Division collection is truly stunning.
Well done again. I’m so glad it all found its way to you.
All the very best,
Bob
Congratulations Marty.
That is a beautiful grouping. I love the 1917 helmet.
On the 3rd Sunday of every month, we have breakfast at our local
American Legion post. Sitting on display is a beautifully painted
M1917 done with the 77th Inf. Statue of Liberty. I will try and get
a picture of it.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
Very nice and thank you for sharing a great grouping. BILL
