    Gday all,
Three WW1 Australian Rising Sun collar badges all different makers(which is not uncommon with these items).
I believe them to be WW1 but as you know they are very hard to I.D.
They came out of Bulgaria of all places which seems to point to Gallipoli as a place of origin if WW1 (may-be,but I am hoping ).
If WW2 Greece seems the most logical place of origin, which ever way there good little Rising Suns.

Thanks mate!!! Looking at them I believe they are WW2... No real evidence just a gut feeling!

Very hard to distinguish between WW1 and 2 badges....the only slouch hat badges that you can say are 99.9% WW1 are the ones with the "slide" instead off the round attachment pins....but that's only really a rule of thumb!!

    Very nice these are....

    Cheers Tony,
To true mate. I agree they are near impossible to date but the sellers location and discription is all I have to go on re their origins and from which conflict.
Seller stated WW1 but ?.I can only speculate Hehehehe.
Gallipoli (WW1) ? or Greece (WW2) ?,Which ever way way I'm a happy camper.
    Cheers mate
